How far apart are Harry's children in age? I think Albus Severus and Lily are a year apart, but what about James? I need J to have already graduated from Hogwarts in my current storyline, so how old would that make A and L?
I'm not doing NaNo this year, and I've sort of read No Plot? No Problem! too many times to have it be of use. So I'm giving it away in a drawing. If you'd like it, please enter. Or tell your other noveling friends to enter. =)
Where does Tuxedo Kamen hide that tophat? And doesn't the rose get crushed beneath his green jacket?
...When he says "Sailor Moon, I will protect you," I wonder if she's blushing because she thinks he's romantic, or this was the animators' way of facepalming at the corniness of using the verb "mamoru." >__> The dude's name is Mamoru, scriptwriters.
I quote: "Men largely control all the money, politics, and prestige...because they have to, in order to impress women." Women don't need to control all these things, the article says, because they don't have to--they control the men instead.
....
Also. "...any reasonably attractive young woman exercises as much power over men as the male ruler of the world does over women." ...Which male ruler of the world?
Do you know anyone who'd be willing to make a flash animation of this bird flapping its wings for less than $30? T__T I have no idea about the pricing of these things, but alsaljifg I really don't want to attempt it myself.
If there is one person or more on your friends list who makes your world a better place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.
For some reason the bookstore had it early, and I now have The Demon's Lexicon in my paws. Am reading (albeit slowly).
For those of you who don't know abour it, the book is Sarah Rees Brennan's debut YA urban fantasy novel. She was a very popular HP fan author, and has since moved onto a three-book deal. The book is about brothers Nick and Alan, who are on the run from magicians who have been chasing them since they were young. Rees Brennan's writing is humorous and her characters are endearing, and I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a fun, awww-inspiring read. Also, I don't think I would be spoiling it too much to say that there is major slash potential, and there are also guns and swords. XD Also we have t-shirts.
Oh, and the first chapter is up on her website for anyone who wants to read it. Also on her websites are very fun movie parodies. I liked the Troy one the best.
Updating from phone. So I came in today to my first job and the wireless network for the entire campus was broken, which means I am out of a computer at both workplaces, since at the other office the computer I'm using is being replaced. No work for Crystal.
Tonight we are going pn a date, and then tomorrow we are going to see Terminator 4. 8D Happiness.
So I've watched five episodes and I really like Mushi-Shi. It's not for everyone. Every episode stands alone and not much happens except for mushi (supernatural crawly things) getting exorcised or whatever. But the art is gorgeous and the dialogue is kind of poetic, and all of the stories make me ask myself questions. It's a very reflective sort of anime. If you want something quietly beautiful then this is for you.
